Azure DevOps Engineer | Remote | B2B Contract | 12 Months (ref. #002)

We're looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for our client's environment. You'll work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery, ensure observability, and support a 24/7 production setup. Start date: ASAP.

What you'll do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test, and deployment across environments
  • Automate application deployments and streamline release processes
  • Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, and code review workflows
  • Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for full observability
  • Implement RBAC, secrets management, and secure DevOps practices
  • Create and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for operational and automation tasks
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to improve delivery speed and reliability
  • Support the application and team in a 24/7 shift-based environment

What we're looking for:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering with strong hands-on Azure DevOps Services expertise
  • Proficiency in CI/CD concepts, pipeline design, and deployment automation
  • Solid knowledge of Azure services—VMs, Networking, Storage, App Services, Storage Accounts
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or ARM templates
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI
  • Understanding of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English communication — collaboration with cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Comfort working in a shift-based 24/7 support model
  • Being able to work within US time zone

Nice to have:

  • Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools beyond Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps environments
  • Familiarity with Azure Autoscheduler, KEDA (Kubernetes Event-Driven Autoscaler), Azure IoT Hub, or Edge Platform (On-Prem)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
