About the Role
The focus of this role is centralizing data and reporting across the organization. This role suits someone with a firm grasp of cross-functional business processes, a self-motivated work ethic, and the ability to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, robust data integration solutions that support organizational decision-making and data-driven initiatives, working across structured and unstructured data with a strong command of Microsoft technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines integrating data from multiple sources across the business.
- Build and manage robust data models supporting BI, analytics, and business performance monitoring.
- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using the full Microsoft stack.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data processing and storage solutions for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for workflows, ETL processes, and data models.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a data engineer or in a comparable role.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Fabric architecture.
- Strong background in data integration, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- In-depth working knowledge of Power BI, including performance best practices for large datasets, dimensions, cubes, measures, and partitions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular hours to support go-lives or critical incidents.
Nice to Have
- Programming experience in Python.
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms beyond Azure.
- Experience working within a global or multi-site enterprise environment.
