Senior Backend Developer | Remote | B2B Contract | March – June 2026 (ref. #006)

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join the OMEGA Order-to-Cash case management and orchestration platform team. The role focuses on lift-and-shift from the existing platform, selective redesign, and improvements to scalability, reliability, and integration with SAP. You'll build and maintain microservices using an event-driven architecture within a Scaled Agile delivery model. Start date: ASAP.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and enhance backend services for the OMEGA O2C platform
• Build and maintain microservices using an event-driven architecture
• Develop and expose APIs (REST, gRPC) for orchestration and case management flows
• Implement scalable, secure, and testable backend components
• Support tight integration with SAP and enterprise platforms
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation using GitHub Actions and Docker
• Work within Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery across 2-week sprints and PI planning
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and platform teams

What we're looking for:

• Senior-level backend development experience in enterprise environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI, with testing discipline using Pytest
• Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Solid understanding of OOP, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, REST APIs, and gRPC
• Experience with Microsoft Azure — particularly Azure Event Hub and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with Python tooling: UV, Poetry, PIP
• Proven experience working on high-integration, SAP-connected platforms
• Experience joining and scaling within an existing delivery team
• Working knowledge of Agile / Scaled Agile (SAFe) with Jira
• English at C1 level — close collaboration with distributed, cross-functional teams
• Ability to work within the US time zone

Nice to have:

• Direct experience with SAP integration patterns in an O2C context
• Background in order management, case management, or orchestration platforms
• Experience with platform migrations or lift-and-shift projects
• Experience working across multiple time zones (PL / MX / IN)
